March/April/May 2012: Update!
So it has been a really busy couple of months! Just recently set up my new showreel business, Sugar Lens Productions! If you would like a showreel made, please conact me (company website coming soon!) I have also been busy doing lots of presenting and some photo retouching for Emma Hurley Photography! Last week I went to the Royal Television Society's 'So you want to be a presenter' evening hosted by Radio One's Grimmy! It was a great night, really informative and I got to present! I got really great reviews from my presenting and am feeling really positive! Good stuff!
Jan 2012: Update!
Well what a crazy couple of months! I've been a very busy bee and some very exciting things have happened. I have previously been working with Silvas Production on their kids gadget show 'Team Gadget' and am now working as a production team member on Cbeebies 'Zingzilla's'! Loving every minute and learning so much!
August 2011: Coastal Eyes
I will be soon departing for my trip around the south coast, presenting and editing for World Learning Ltd! It is going to be great fun and I am going to learn loads about our beautiful country! Will keep you posted with more info closer the time....
June 2011: Slashimi (2010)
I was in a film last year where I played a Wag type girl! I have finally seen it and I am really pleased for the director as it has come out really well. You can see me in bits, mostly me being a bratt! he he!

June 2011: Currently on the look out for running jobs!
It is now time for me to make my way into Children's TV.....I have waited far too long! he he! So, Sophie is on the look out for any jobs within Children's TV........it is now time for the Universe to deliever! Thank you :-D
May 2011: Home and Away Bay Reporter Competition!
Now for all those who know me, they will know I am a huge Home and Away fan! So when the opportunity to become a Home and Away TV presenter for two shows all about the back stage gossip came up, I couldn't stand not to have a go!! So in the latest video section is my entry! March 2011: Royal Television Society - Meet the Children's TV Gurus!
We had three minutes to speak to each Guru which was exciting and scarey at the same time! I managed to speak to Damian Kavanagh (CBBC), Jamila Metran (CITV), Jonathan Boseley (Disney) and Joe Godwin (Controller, CBBC)! Took home some great advice which will hopefully assist me in the future!
March 2011: Game Host for Universally Challenged for BU!
Today I was the head teacher of a University!! Had great fun presenting a game show for BU. We even had a live studio audience and they were so much fun! Video coming soon.....

Christmas Story to be made for Dancemania! I have been given the impossible task of making a Christmas animation for Dancemania, using some of their Ballerina Toys. Now am I going to be able to rise to this challenge........watch this space!!
2010: Presenter's Inc Presenting Course
I have just returned from completing the Presenter's Inc Presenters two day studio course! Now so many people have told me not to bother with these courses, but I found this particular one so imformative and helpful that I would recommend it to anyone looking to get into presenting. It is run by two well resepcted presenters Sally Gray MBE and Jonas Hurst. For more info check out their website www.presentersinc.co.uk.

For the last few months along side my presenting, I have been working for Dancemania.biz as their Social Media Co-ordinater. I currently write Blogs for their website, look after the social networking for the company and also produce short informative videos about their products, where I film, script, present and edit myself. Working for Dancemania.biz is giving me the opportunity to use all my skills and is also related to what I would like to do for my future career!
